Robert "Bob" Bender (the owner) is standing in the background to the left of the group in front of "Nellie," his shiny, black, 1956 Cadillac Fleetwood. He is wearing a chauffeur hat. Drivers are standing beside their more modern taxis, that are all angled in a row on a diagonal. Bender's Airline Limousine Service operated sixteen cabs, and all but two of them were Cadillacs, shuttling passengers between the airport and downtown Madison. Two men are standing on the sidewalk on the far left, and other people are standing on the sidewalk in front of the airport entrance on the far right. |
