The anniversary was celebrated as a picnic by 116 members of the Brumder Clan on Sunday afternoon July 19th 1964, on a very hot day. The larger trees along this private drive [later Brumder Drive] through "Villa Henrietta" running to the entrance on Highway K were planted by George Brumder in 1896. They are all Elm Trees (now subject to Dutch Elm Disease)."
