The tennis court was a part of the original Brumder family estate, Villa Henrietta, on Pine Lake. The estate was built by Milwaukee publisher and businessman George Brumder and his wife, Henriette. It was divided among their children at the time of Henriette's death. Herbert Paul Brumder, the youngest child of George and Henriette, built his summer home near the tennis court on the parcel of land he inherited. |
