Madison YWCA Children's Fine Arts Program
Forty girls, ages 8-16, participate in Madison's first consolidated children's fine arts program sponsored by the Y.W.C.A. Ann Hoffman of the Y.W.C.A. staff directs the program. The sessions are taught by U.W. graduate students. Lessons in ballet and modern dance; sketching, drawing, and watercolors. Drama and music are included in the program. Shown is freely interpreted dance in ballet style performed by Rosalie Messina (L), 1921 Jefferson Street, and Charlene Harris (R), 1901 Baird Street. |
