Matanuska Maid Ice Cream Display
Indoor display of a box of Matanuska Maid Ice Cream. From the Palmer Historical Society: "Matanuska Maid" was first the brand name of the Matanuska Valley Farmers Cooperating Association dairy products, which was later the name of the dairy. "Anuska" was the name given the little skater, and endearing symbol for the dairy products as well as the "Maid," the place where it all began. |
