National German Song Festival Attendees

Caption reads: "The first of three planeloads of Milwaukeeans left Gen. Mitchell field Friday for the national German song festival held every 10 years at Stuttgart, Germany. Altogether, 220 men and women will make the trip. There were 68 persons in the first group. A dozen German singing societies have members in two choruses which will represent Milwaukee at the event starting Thursday. Some 100,000 singers are expected at Stuttgart." |
