State Sanitorium
Text on front reads: "Group of Buildings of State Sanatorium, Statesan, Wis." A view of the Wisconsin State Tuberculosis Sanatorium, also known as “Statesan." The building in the center is the Administration Building. It was the only state run Sanatorium in Wisconsin. It opened on November 7, 1907 and closed in the fall of 1957. There is a tall smokestack on the right. |
