Text on front reads: "High School, Stevens Point, Wis." Completed in 1923, the Collegiate Gothic building was built of brick. Locally called the Annex, it was constructed to alleviate overcrowding at the High School. Together with a temporary building, the three buildings were referred to as Emerson School.
