Stoughton City Hall
Text on reverse reads: "Stoughton City Hall. Stoughton, Wisconsin. Built in 1900 to house the city offices, library, police and fire departments with a 701 seat opera house on the upper floors. The City Hall and fire departments are still in service. The opera house, unused since 1953, is currently being restored. Published by the Depot Restoration Committee." The building is brick, built in the Romanesque Revival style. The Stoughton Opera House has now been restored and plays host to a wide variety of musical and theatrical performances. |
