Bridge at Sturgeon Bay
Text on front reads: "Bridge at Sturgeon Bay, Door County, Wisconsin." This bridge, also known as the Michigan Street Bridge, was built in 1929 and opened in 1931. Over the years the bridge fell into disrepair. The organization Citizens of our Bridge was formed to save the bridge and in 2005, held a concert fundraiser, the Steel Bridge Songfest. The bridge has been restored and is in use today. |
