Fred Lewis
A man playing bagpipes on the deck of a boat. Caption reads: "When the big sailboat fleet docks at a Lake Michigan port after a race, startled salts are likely to hear sounds which might have been emitted by a pinched pig. Here is the cause, bagpiper Fred Lewis of St. Johns, Mich. The attorney is a regular crew member aboard the yacht Rarotonga of Macatawa, Mich., and he has been tootling on the pipes for six years. The racing fleet was docked at Milwaukee's South Shore Yacht club when Lewis squealed out this number, a reel entitled 'The High Road to Linton.'" |
