Text on the front reads: "Douglas Co. Museum, Superior, Wis." This home housed the Douglas County Museum from 1939 to 1963. They were offered the home of the A. A. Roth family to use as their museum in 1938. Alois Roth was a partner with his brother Theodore in the Roth Brothers Department Store in Superior. |
