You Will Not Go Astray
Text on front reads: "But you will not go astray if you go to the 'Palm Garden. F.J. Gaetzman, Wausau, Wis." A photo postcard with two images. On the left is a man in a suit, posing in a tavern with his elbow on the bar. The interior has a high, pressed tin ceiling, ornate back bar, spittoons and a piano. On the right is a painting of a man, shabbily dressed, leaning on a signpost in the snow. He is holding a violin and bow under his arm. The signpost reads: "Mansville, ? Miles" and "Menominee, ? Miles." The word "ASTRAY" is at the foot of the image. All the text is letterpress imprinted on the postcard in red ink. |
