On the reverse: "Fairhaven–Whitewater, Wisconsin–is being created by the Wisconsin Congregational Conference to provide a new and exciting adventure in living for retired and semi-retired people. For those who have reached the autumn of life and who wish to be freed from the burdensome care of maintaining a home–Fairhaven offers the Christian answer." An architectural rendering of the soon to be built retirement center. Ground was broken on October 2nd, 1960 with occupancy beginning in 1962. |
