Text on reverse reads: "South Cottage. Winnebago State Hospital. Winnebago, Wis. South Cottage houses student nurses. An identical building, North Cottage served originally as the Admissions Office when the two were built in 1929. North Cottage now houses patients." Additional text on a sticker on the reverse reads: "Friends of Julaine Farrow Museum. To establish and develop effective community partnerships and promote awareness of the Julaine Farrow Museum; Located on the grounds of Winnebago Mental Health Institute. The friends will assist with working with museum archives and artifacts; communicating and promoting the museum within their communities, while supporting WMHI, its mission, its past, and its current needs. The friends will assist in coordination the efforts of groups and individuals interested in the welfare of historic preservation." Built in 1926 of brick in the Colonial Revival style, it is surrounded by trees. |
