Mill at Walnut Grove
Handwritten on back: "Excavation in water wheel pit back of old mill building. Note three logs used as support for stone pillar to hold outer end of water wheel shaft. Also back boards of a portion of the old water wheel, which had rotted and fallen there and during the years, a hundred or more, had become covered with about five feet of dirt." There is another log building in background, probably the Blacksmith Shop. |
