This image is part of a larger collection of over 2,000 glass plate negatives and photographs created by Alexander Krueger and other family members who photographed their family and neighborhood in exuberant detail, initiating a family tradition of photography. These images record the lifestyle and experiences of one Pomeranian-American and German-American family at the turn of the century, in rural Wisconsin. The image appeared in the October section of the 1992 Wisconsin Historical Calendar. |
