Farmers' Market

Elevated view of the farmers' market at the base of the water tower (not in view) in front of the Washington Building. There is a Wisconsin State Journal sign at the 100 block of E. Washington Avenue. The farmers are standing with their horses and wagons, with many parked in the center of the street. A large sign on the building on the left reads, in part: "IN STATE JOURNAL". Signs on the storefronts for the buildings on the left read: "Piper Bros Groceries and Seeds", " J. P. Halbach" and "Cook Bros". A sign on the building on the right reads: "Conklin & Sons Coal, Wood & Ice". |
