Wisconsin State Capitol Interior — Rooms of the Historical Society

The north library reading room, which was reserved for women, in the Historical Society's quarters in the third Wisconsin State Capitol. This room, which was part of the South Wing constructed in 1883, illustrates much about the construction and appearance of that wing and probably, also, of the North Wing offices constructed for the Supreme Court and Law Library at the same time. |
