On the lower left of the photograph: © Kingsbury, Antigo, Wis. X3-4 Arthur J Kingsbury (1875-1956) was a photographer in Antigo from at least 1911-1928. On Ancestry.com in the 1937 Indian Census Roll taken by the U.S. Department of the Interior, there is a "Big Pat Bearskin" on the Lac du Flambeau reservation. It says he was born in 1846, is age 90, a full-blooded Chippewa, widowed, enrolled at Lac du Flambeau, receiving Allotment 27, living alone.
