View looking up towards the special train of the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis & Omaha Railroad comprised of 24 freight cars loaded with lumber and other wood products. A group of men are standing on top of one of the boxcars. The train was en route from Eau Claire to Omaha, Nebraska. In this photograph the train is crossing a bridge over the Chippewa River at Eau Claire. In the background is a large brick building, and a bluff. |
