Tour of International Harvester's East Moline Works (factory) for the St. Cloud combine promotion. Original caption reads: "There are hundreds of inspections on the combine assembly line - and before that there are many other in foundry, forging and stamping operations, the visitors learned. Here they see the clutch on the No. 141 combine engine being tested and inspected. This is one of the last tests on the assembly line. Feeder has been removed from this machine for additional testing and inspection." |
