Racine Roundhouse

The locomotive "D.K. Bush," which was built in the Racine shops of the Western Union Railroad in 1879, the same year in which the line came into the possession of the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railroad. On the ground, against the tender, is master mechanic John Taylor, in the cab doorway is Mart Gorman and, leaning against the connecting rod is D.L. Bush himself, then assistant superintendent of the southwestern division. |
