State Street, 200 Block
View across street of the 200 block of State Street, showing pedestrians in conversation, parked automobiles, streetcar tracks, and the storefronts of a shoe store, the Photoart House, and a Rennebohm Drug Store. This Rennebohm's store, which was variously numbered as 204 and 208 State Street, was opened in 1924 as Rennebohm's second store. At the time it was known as the Central Drug Store. The building in which it was located was built in 1909 and designed by Madison architect Ferdinand Kronenberg. Except for the store windows, the original facade is largely intact. |
