Richard Green Residence

The Richard Green residence is a frame house with a porch that features latticework. Before it stands an elaborate white fence. A clothesline pole can be seen. The man on the left is Richard Green. The boy standing by the tree is Burton E. Green, born 1868. Green family moved to California in 1886. Burton Green became a very wealthy developer of Hollywood California. The Green House was moved to make way for the Pierstorff House. The Green House was cut in two (2 story front half & 1 story back half) and moved to 1719 & 1725 Henry St. Middleton. The Pirestorff House, 7457 Terrace Ave., Middleton was restored and now (2023) is Restoring Hope Transplant House. |
