Forest City in Upper Canada
| From Ottawa City Hölzlhuber took a two-day hike with a couple of lumber dealers, staying in an isolated cabin overnight. They met a group of surveyors the next morning, then pushed on to Forest City, which is shown here laid out in square blocks, with mountains in the distance.
