The house was built by Holden Snell in 1853. It was owned by George M. Oakley in 1882. Oakley and his daughter Mrs. John C. Hawley lived there. Painted by Ford in September, 1939 and was loaned by Mr. and Mrs. John C. Hawley and left to the Society after their deaths. |
