Governor C.C. Washburn House

The Governor C.C. Washburn house was built in the 1850's and purchased by Samuel H. Marshall before completion, then by Mr. Ashmead of Philadelphia. Washburn purchased it in 1876 and later bequeathed it to the Sisters of the Sacred Heart. It was the original Edgewood Academy. The house was demolished by fire. |
