Children and Adults Participating in Milwaukee Labor Day Parade

The 6th Ward Contingent represented a community on the march. Black men, women and children from the CIO and AF of L, from small business, brought a message to the community that attacked Bilboism, the polltax, and called for jobs for all. Children carried signs saying, "Our Daddies Helped Lick Hitler and Tojo, Give Us A Square Deal." - Wisconsin CIO News |
