They have assembled there to await the arrival of the soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division who will escort them to school. The students are Jefferson Thomas, Carlotta Walls, Thelma Mothershed, Gloria Ray, Terrence Roberts, Elizabeth Eckford, and Melba Pattillo. |
