Wisconsin State Capitol

Elevated view of the Wisconsin State Capitol. The north and south wings were added in 1882-1884. The trees in the park are not yet full of leaves and did not obstruct the view. As a result, the curvilinear walkways can be seen. The Capitol Park was designed by noted landscape architect Horace W.S. Cleveland, but his design was only partially developed. This photograph is oriented with the North Wing addition at the left. |
