Dane County Democratic club luncheon hostesses: Mrs. Thomas E. Fairchild, Mrs. Horace Wilkie, Mrs. William Proxmire (Elsie Rockefeller, his first wife), Mrs. Carl Thompson, Mrs. Ruth Doyle, Mrs. Ervin Bruner and Mrs. Walter Linderud. The luncheon was held for Adlai E. Stevenson, presidential candidate of the Democratic Party. There is a poster of Stevenson on the wall behind the hostesses.
