Old Carriage House

Exterior of exotic-looking Old Carriage House on the northeast edge of Lake Kegonsa in Stoughton. John Williams, a steel magnate from Youngstown, Ohio, used to summer on the property designed the building and had two Stoughton carpenters build the carriage house in 1887. There were no supporting beams for the second floor, instead the floor was hung from the ceiling on thick, steel rods. |
