A painting of the new (as of 1891) bridge over the Mississippi River in La Crosse. The bridge was built by the Clinton Bridge Co. Captions read: "North side view of the new wagon Bridge over the Mississippi at La Crosse (Wis) N. A. January 1891." "The bridge consists of the draw[?] one 300 foot span, [?] 130 foot [?], 129 feet of iron trestle, 120 feet of wooden trestle, total, 1,255 feet. Erected by the Clinton Bridge Co."
