Boy scout sled team participating in the Klondike Derby sled race. The boys are pulling the sled on the Monona Golf Course, with Nichols School in the background. Nearly 300 scouts from the Dane County area participated in "Operation Klondike" which tested the boys in first aid, ice rescue, fire building and compass knowledge. |
