The five Quisling brothers, four doctors and one accountant, built the apartment in 1937. Designed by architect Lawrence Monberg, was the first constructed in Madison after the Depression. The sharp ledges and curved towers are standing features in the two other Monberg designs, Quisling Clinic, 2 West Gorham Street, and the oringinal section of the Edgewater Hotel, 666 Wisconsin State Journal column entitled "Have You Seen This Madison?". The column ran from 1969 to 1977. |
