Jeffery Car

A 1915 Jeffery, with a special body made by the W.S. Seaman Company parked in front of the company's Milwaukee plant. The Seaman company manufactured bodies for a number of early manufacturers of automobiles, trucks, buses, and ambulances. The Jeffery was an automobile make manufactured by the Thomas B. Jeffery Company of Kenosha. The company was better known for its Rambler line, but after the death of founder Thomas Jeffery, his heir renamed the product in his memory. Eventually both the Jeffery and Seaman companies became part of Nash Motors. |
