Capsized USS Oklahoma

Capsized USS Oklahoma at Pearl Harbor. The Oklahoma was hit with a large number of Japanese aerial torpedoes which ripped an opening across most of the port-side hull plating of the ship, causing it to take on water and rotate into the water. Sailors that were trapped in the ship were eventually cut free by other sailors and civilian dock workers at Pearl Harbor. |
