Collins House

William & Dora Collins House from Lake Mendota, 704 East Gorham Street, which contained offices of the Madison Parks Department and later a Bed & Breakfast Inn. The design of the house is representative of the turn-of-the-century Prairie School style in its horizontal lines and simple geometric shapes. It was built in 1912 and was designed by the architectural firm of Claude and Starck. |
