View of the Waukesha Woolen Mills buildings. Caption reads: "The picture above shows the Waukesha Woolen Mills buildings as they looked around 1880. At left is the mill and at right is the office building, which no longer exists. (Piles of cordwood at left above were used in the mill.) The rear and upper portions of the plant were either burned out or removed, and the remaining front two story portion converted late office and garage for the water works. It's that part (below) that's being razed now." |
