Henry Plowman Residence
The home of Henry Plowman, the co-founder of a local newspaper, The Miner's Free Press. The house was erected in 1855-1856 and was reportedly later occupied by Henry Dodge who had served twice as Territorial Governor (1836-1841 and 1845-1848), the first and last terms before statehood was granted. |
