Located on Sullivan Road in Waterloo. The home was built by John Wickhem (1817-1892)in the mid-late 1800's. Michael Wickhem (1853-1836), one of his sons, stayed on the farm until he died of heat exhaustion on the hottest recorded day in Wisconsin history 7/13/1936. Another son raised on the farm, James George Wickhem (1857-1912) was the father of Supreme Court Justice John D. Wickhem (1888-1949). |
