Fort Howard at Green Bay was constructed in 1816 in response to the changes created by the War of 1812. Later it was moved to a higher ground. Francis Comte de Castelnau was a French naturalist and diplomat. His book, Vues et Souvenirs de l'Amerique du Nord, was published in Paris in 1842. |
