Sarah Goodnow Clark
Sarah Goodnow married early Madison settler Darwin Clark in 1848 and died in Madison in 1854. Her sister Sophia was married to Madison pharmacist Philo Dunning. This portrait of Mrs. Clark was probably copied from a lost daguerreotype. Her accessories in this portrait include a small beaded handbag. |
