Made Exp. for F. M. Towner. The Fortney Hotel was built in 1899 and is one of the longest-standing buildings in Viroqua's downtown. The handwritten text on the postcard reads: "Dear Friend, Pardon me for sending this card. Did you arrive home all right (?)(sic). Certainly was a disagreeable day for driving. Regards from your friend, Harvey. |
