Arbuckle's Coffee Card

"It Almost Broke Her Up." One of a series of satiric trade cards issued by the Arbuckle's Aroisa Coffee Co. This incident is borrowed from "Texas Siftings," a popular humor magazine. Arbuckle's satire cards reprinted previously published cartoons, some of which involved racist depictions of African Americans, such as this card which uses a stereotypical dialect. |
