Vinnie Ream Hoxie (1847?-1914) was a noted nineteenth century sculptor. Born in Madison, Wisconsin, she lived most of her life in Washington, D.C. and was married to Lt. Richard L. Hoxie, Army Corps of Engineers. Notable works include Lincoln in the Statuary Hall of the United States Capitol, and Admiral Farragut in Farragut Square, Washington, D.C. |
