Tosten Mossefin
Seated oval studio portrait of Tosten Mossefin, a private in Company H, 15th Wisconsin Infantry. The following information was obtained from the Regimental Description Rolls, Volume 20: On October 19, 1861 he enlisted in Cambridge, Wisconsin and then was mustered into service in Madison, Wisconsin on February 13, 1862, at the age of 22. He was wounded slightly in the head near Atlanta, Georgia on August 17, 1864, and was sent to a division hospital. He mustered out of service with Company H on February 13, 1865, at Chattanooga, Tennessee. |
