Ozone Alert

On hot summer days, automobile emissions cause an increase in ground level ozone that can be harmful to health. In Wisconsin, the ozone problem is most acute in the cities along Lake Michigan between Milwaukee and Chicago. Wisconsin posts an ozone alert when average concentrations over a four hour period average 100 ppb. |
