Sun Prairie Development Model

Propelled by good roads and lower property taxes, many Wisconsin towns became "commuter suburbs" to their larger neighbors during the 1950s and 1960s. While most suburban developments were initiated by real estate developers, the planner at work on a model here is Lt. E.J. Brannan, project engineer for the Capehart Project in Sun Prairie. The Capehart Project was designed to provide housing for Truax Field personnel. |
